Japanese import and man is this AWESOME power pop! It`s all here in this fully satisfying 14 song package! Their EP, Are You Green?, was quite good but still this tour-de-popped-force has taken us by surprise! The band reminds us of a few other cool indie power pop ones, like a rockier XTC(check out "1234" below, wow!), Barely Pink, Farrah, Einstein`s Sister and edgier Stonecake, even some of The Shazam, such is the rock `n roll spirit that lurks beneath the surface here. This is a joyous, highly melodic, high-charged tune-fest. All the songs here feature glistening guitar twists, snappy snares, rich, angular bass guitar tones(ala Col in Moulding) and a breath of fresh air on all the material. There`s not one bad track here and is one of the very best and strongest power pop releases to come from Japan in the few years! We hate sounding like a broken record, but listen the soundbites.
